3、定语从句 (the attributive clause)（1）

1） 能够用英语描述人物的特征、行为等-由who/whom/that/whose引导:she looked at jeff, who was waving his arms.the girl whose leg was broken in the earthquake was taken to hospital.

2） 能够用英语描述事物、事件的性质、内容等-由which/that引导:and there she saw a wall of water which/that was quickly advancing towards her.

4、定语从句（the attributive clause）(2)

1） 描述特定时间的特征——由when或介词+which引导定语从句：this was the moment when / at which spielberg’s career really took off.

2）描述特定地点的特征——由where 或介词+which引导定语从句：chuck survives the air crash and lands on a deserted island where / on which there are no people.

5、定语从句（the attributive clause）(3)

1） 能够用从句描述人物、事件、时间、地点、原因等——使用限制性定语从句 i spent the whole afternoon with the teacher who was very helpful.

2） 能够用从句对特定的人物、事件、时间、地点等作补充说明——使用非限制性定语从句i spent the whole afternoon with the teacher, which was helpful.

一、所教班级基本情况

本学期我担任高一（15）高一（16）班的英语教学，这个两个班都是平行班，经过本学期的教学，学生已基本适应了上课的流程和掌握一定的学习方法，但是学生的语法基础普遍薄弱，单词记忆不是很理想，听说读写的英语能力也需要进一步提高。

二、教学指导思想

认真钻研新课标，树立新观念，探索新教法，在学校教学计划指导下进行工作。特别注意根据我校高一学生实际，努力发展学生自主学习和合作学习的能力；形成有效的英语学习策略；培养学生的综合运用语言的能力；特别注重提高学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力。继续拓宽学生的知识面，全面培养听、说、读、写四会能力，理解、分析和阅读的能力，让学生尽快适应高中学习。

三、教材分析

按照新课程改革，本学期开设普通高中课程标准实验教科书英语模块必修（2）两个模块剩余和必修(3)和必修（4）。（人教版）共10个单元内容。共十二个模块。其中有两个模块为复习模块。
