篇二十五：严重的水灾 Serious Floods

　　The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And it’s important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

　　Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children can’t go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

　　Though we can’t help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

篇二十六：捉螃蟹 Catching Crabs

　　There is a river near my home. There are a lot offish and crabs in it. I often go to catch crabs with my brother.

　　Yesterday my brother and I went to catch crabs again. As soon as we got to the river, we began to work at once. My brother caught crabs with his hand, and I put them into a basket. After a short time we caught a lot of crabs, for my brother was very skillful at it.

　　Crabs have two sharp and large pincers. If you are not careful, the crab may grip your fingers firmly and make you painful, Once my brother was gripped by a crab. He put his hand to the crack ora rock very slowly, and moved the crab to one side. Then he held the crab's back, with another hand, forcing it to loosen its pincers Quickly he threw it into my basket.

　　We worked till about five o'clock in the afternoon. Then we went back home. The basket was very heavy with several jin of crabs in it. We had a delicious dinner.

篇二十七：校园里的春天 Spring in Our School

　　Spring comes at last. Everything begins to grow. The trees turn green, and the flowers come out. On the playground, in the fields, on each side of the road, the young grass grows everywhere.

　　Spring also arrives in our school. Come and see, behind our teaching building, there are some small pear trees covered with white flowers; on both sides of it, there are some other flowers smiling at you, Some are yellow, some are red. In our school garden, more flowers are there. All kinds of flowers of many colours can be seen.

　　Look, there are some Kites flying in the sky. The spring wind is blowing. The sun is shining brightly. Some boys are playing games in the sun, Listen, a group of girls are singing "Where’s spring?" It sounds like the singing of lark birds. All these make me think that spring is here, spring is there, and spring is just in our school. Fhe boys and the girls are all like flowers in spring.
